The service and these terms
CloudVigil provides website and API checks, SSL certificate monitoring, incident history, alerts, and status pages. These terms describe the conditions for accessing the service. Also read the Privacy Policy before creating an account.
Use the service only if you have legal capacity to undertake these obligations. If acting for an organization, you must be authorized to represent it and configure services on its behalf.
Your account and team
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and keep team access up to date. Each user should use their own account. You are responsible for activities you authorize in the workspace and should notify the operator of unauthorized access you become aware of.
Owner, admin, member, and viewer permissions limit available actions. Grant access only to people who need it and remove access that is no longer necessary.
Acceptable use
You must be authorized to monitor configured destinations and respect the destination services’ rules. Do not use CloudVigil to:
- Attack, overload, exploit vulnerabilities in, or interfere with systems.
- Attempt to access private networks, infrastructure metadata, or resources without permission.
- Send spam, unlawful content, or alerts to recipients without authorization.
- Publish personal data, secrets, or protected content without the necessary authorization.
- Bypass limits, access controls, plan restrictions, or security mechanisms.
Monitoring limitations
AI incident explanations are optional and use the available records. They may contain errors, omit context, or suggest incorrect hypotheses. Check the evidence before acting. This feature does not execute changes, confirm internal root causes, or replace incident investigation.
Checks are periodic and depend on connectivity, capacity, and external services’ responses. Intervals are approximate. An incident may start between checks, and network failures can affect results. Metrics reflect collected samples rather than continuous availability measurements.
Alerts depend on configuration and acceptance by external providers. We do not guarantee immediate delivery, message reading, error-free operation, or uninterrupted availability. The service does not replace incident response procedures, independent testing, or systems required for life- and safety-critical operations.
Your data and public pages
You retain your rights to the data and branding you provide. By using the service, you authorize the processing needed to run checks, store results, send alerts, and display content according to your settings. This authorization does not transfer ownership of your content.
You decide which monitors are public and which pages are published. Review names, logos, and incidents before publishing. Public content may be accessed, indexed, and copied by third parties. Unpublishing a page does not erase external copies. Deleting monitors and their history may be permanent.
Integrations and external services
Email, Telegram, image hosting, and monitored services are operated by third parties under their own terms and policies. You are responsible for obtaining permissions and maintaining valid credentials and channels you configure. Provider changes or outages may affect CloudVigil.
Plans, pricing, and availability
Available features and limits depend on the plan assigned to the workspace and the features actually enabled. Pro allows additional status pages by group; Free and Starter keep one main page. See the pricing page to compare the planned tiers.
At this stage, paid subscriptions cannot be purchased through a CloudVigil checkout. Displaying prices does not authorize a charge. Any future paid order must disclose the price, renewal and cancellation terms, and applicable rights before the order is confirmed.
Suspension and termination
The operator may limit or suspend access to contain abuse, protect systems, comply with a legal obligation, or address a material violation of these terms. Where feasible and appropriate, the operator should explain the reason and allow clarification or correction.
You may stop using the service and request account closure through the operator contact. Data processing and retention after closure follow the Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations. Do not assume that stopping dashboard access erases your data.
Responsibilities and applicable law
Maintain your own procedures for backups, certificate renewal, and incident response. Assess whether the service meets your needs and do not rely exclusively on a single monitoring tool.
Any liability and disputes will be assessed under the laws and competent authorities applicable to the relationship. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer or data protection rights, or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and questions
Features and documents may change as the service develops. The revision date identifies this version of the terms. Material changes should be communicated through available channels when required by law and do not remove existing mandatory rights. For questions, use the operator contact below.
